The Faculty was founded in 2002. There are 3 departments: Logopaedics, Special Pedagogics, Oligophrenopedagogics.

There are about 600 students.

The Faculty participates in Russian-Swiss project "Animation as a Means of Children's Development".

The Faculty has the following directions and specialities: Logopaedics, Special Pre-School Peagogics and Psychology, Oligophrenopedagogics.
